Dosal Capital

Dosal Capital prides itself on investing in entrepreneurial businesses that can benefit from our 40-plus years of expertise and proven operational experience.

Eric Dosal, Co-CEO

A 4th generation entrepreneur, Eric Dosal takes an active role in executing the growth plans for all of Dosal Capital’s operating companies.

Eric Dosal currently serves as the President & CEO of Compuquip Cybersecurity, his family’s largest operating business founded in 1980. He rejoined Compuquip in August of 2017 to transition the legacy value-added reseller into a managed security services provider. During his tenure, he has built a new leadership team, developed and deployed new offerings, and grown the business on average 40% year-over-year (YoY).

Eric also serves as the co-founder of Strety, a new software startup he co-founded in 2019 with his brother, Brian. Strety is an all-in-one performance management tool to help better track meetings and employee feedback. The concept of Strety was born out of the experiences both Eric and his brother had at their previous companies. They realized they wanted one platform to manage teams and employee feedback, which led to the development of the Strety platform.

Prior to Strety & Compuquip, Eric served as the Co-Founder and CEO of BrightGauge Software from 2013 to 2017, the first software startup he would co-found with his brother in 2010. The business analytics software company was successfully sold in 2018.

Before BrightGauge, Eric was the President & CEO of Compuquip Technologies Managed Services, a company he co-founded with his brother in 2007 and ultimately sold in 2012 to Konica Minolta.  Prior to being President & CEO at Compuquip Eric spent 5 years learning the business in the sales department and ultimately owning 60% of the company’s sales performance.

Earlier in his career, Eric was an associate with the investment banking group at Blaylock & Partners in New York City, where he worked with Fortune 500 companies on IPOs, public high-yield-debt offerings, private placements, and mergers and acquisitions.

Active in the community, Eric gives back by volunteering at the Babson WIN Lab as an Entrepreneur in Residence as well as a member of the Nicklaus Children Hospital Marketing Board of Directors.  Eric is also a long time member of the Young Presidents’ Organization.

When Eric is not working, he enjoys traveling to the mountains and spending time with his family, especially his wonderful wife and his two daughters.

Eric holds a bachelor’s degree from Babson College, class of 2000, where he earned the Wallace P. Mors Award for the top finance student.
