Eric Dosal, DirectorA second-generation entrepreneur, Eric Dosal takes an active role in creating opportunities and executing on visions for all of Dosal Capital’s operating companies.
He is CEO of BrightGauge Software, a Dosal Capital company he co-founded with his brother in 2010. This web-based business-analytics platform that enables managed IT services providers (MSPs) to generate customizable performance reports and dashboards based on their unique data sources.
Dosal also holds a dual role as president and CEO of Compuquip Technologies, an operating company that provides businesses with enterprise-security services. In 2012, he led the sale of Compuquip’s Managed IT Services division, which he co-founded and grew over 350 percent during a four-year period, to Konica Minolta Business Services. Before this, he was a Compuquip account manager, where he established and grew the company’s largest sales territory and directed accounts representing 60 percent of company revenue.
In addition, Dosal serves on the board of directors of Dosal Capital’s voice- and data-cabling company Blue Wave Communications.
Early in his career, Dosal was an associate with the investment banking group at Blaylock & Partners in New York City, where he worked with Fortune 500 companies on IPOs, public high-yield-debt offerings, private placements and mergers and acquisitions.
Active in charitable organizations, Dosal supports the National Brain Tumor Foundation and the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, for which he helps to raise funds during its annual Nautica South Beach Triathlon. In addition, he is a member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) and the Babson College President's Society.
Dosal holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and investments from Babson College, where he graduated magna cum laude and earned the Wallace P. Mors Award for top finance student.
